i realise this question is off-topic for this forum but i believe this forum moved away from it's original intent long ago, and is now just a social place to talk to others with a similar background.
i've got a friend who has recently begun going to aa meetings.
she tells me that an 'alcoholics' body breaks down alcohol differently from a non-alcoholic and the difference in metabolism is what differentiates between an alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Songmistress,
I am glad I got to meet you, last Saturday
You just wait, next time we meet up again I will be armed with my new toy!! You will look lovely, as you do in real life!
last friday, i had the pleasure of meeting animal!
me and my friend met animal in la, and had a blast.
below is a picture of me and animal.
Great Picture!!
You two are very good looking individuals!!
.
do you think that you will see your dear loved ones come back to life in a ressurection of some sort or do you think there is no hope of such a thing?
I think there is more to our existence than we realize. I'm inclined to think there is a "life" after death, but not as we know life to be. I believe there is a lot more to us than we are capable of understanding, but I'm not 100% convinced of what that is.
I don't believe in hell, so I have decided to live my life to the fullest. I just hope that I have touched people in a positive way and have made some contribution to society and a job well done before I pass on. This, for myself, would mean I have succeeded.
growing up i remember the only excitement for the public talk was if it was a slide show.
once the first one happened, i always looked at the windows of the hall to see if there was aluminum foil on them.
if it was, boy did i get excited.
Yes, I remember them! Usually it was an elder that had traveled to a different country. He would come back and share his slides with us of others in different congregations. I think that they later cracked down on that.....they became more like home movies and didn't fit the theocratic standards, I guess.
man, learning how to make tubes for paint shop pro is alot of fun.
at first it was difficult to learn until i ran into a website that showed me step by step how to do it.
i had to find an image that i wanted to make a tube out of, then edited the image, then saved it as a .psp format.
Yizuman,
Is this a replica of your secret fantasy?
i have been looking for a place like this.
seems pretty cool.
i am about 1.5 years inactive and have no plans to go back.
WELCOME!
Hope you find comfort from this board....

Beck,
I am have a blast with my digital camera. It's a mini cam-corder too....I'm goin' to get busy with my scrap books! Of course, the kids love having their picture taken especially my little girl!! She's a ham....
Bikerchic,
I'm not sure I figured it out yet...computers are not my thang. But when I stick to something I eventually figure it out. I had a nice time at the meet-up...too bad you didn't take pics. Maybe next time. We'll have to take some real goofy ones.....
Mystla,
It was very nice meeting you and Jeff. I hope we can do that again soon! You are a very sweet person.
Rodbar,
Thanks! This can get addicting...I can really have some fun with this toy!!!
Go...,
Yes, can you still see the pain? I think I'm pretty much over the JW crap, but I think life's experiences have a way of clinging on to us, as much as we try to shake it off.
